Restroom advertising is very popular.
Since people can’t run away from what’s being put up to their face while they are in the toilet or washing their hands, they have no other choice than paying attention to the advertisement. It’s a pretty effective channel for advertising!
1. Here's a mirror which switches to being an advertising display if nobody is near it. Placed in a public toilet this means that ads are on display during the time that nobody is standing right in front of the display/mirror to wash their hands or do their hair. Watch the video.
