Marc Jacobs Disaster at NY Fashion Week

1. The show was delayed for 2 hours.

2. At the time MJ was seen at the bar of the hotel where his show was supposed to be. ( he has just left Rehab!)

3. His show was not successful for many fashion editors.

4. His show was a rewind - he first greated the guests, models walked in line and then one by one...

MJ adds so much color and fun to the fashion industry that it's sad to see him struggling...

Valentino's 300 dress exhibit for the 50th year anniversary of the brand is open at the Ara Pacis Museum in Rome. I like the way Valentino's crimson clad mannequins have been grouped around the ancient Ara Pacis monument like an ecstatic Greek chorus. Looks beautiful.

Season's hit trend is obviously patent SILVER. When I saw a lot of silver on the SS07 runway shows I wasn't really sure if I'd wear anything silver. Now I own a couple pairs of silver shoes, accessories and even silver nail polish. I guess that's how fashion gets you:) because you see it in every fashion magazine, blogs and stores you start to like something you thought you wouldn't consider to like.

Since people can’t run away from what’s being put up to their face while they are in the toilet or washing their hands, they have no other choice than paying attention to the advertisement. It’s a pretty effective channel for advertising!
1. Here's a mirror which switches to being an advertising display if nobody is near it. Placed in a public toilet this means that ads are on display during the time that nobody is standing right in front of the display/mirror to wash their hands or do their hair. Watch the video.
